The brake coil has experienced a thermal overload, is defective, or is connected improperly. This can lead to braking issues, potential drive damage, and requires inspection of the brake system.

• Ramp time set too short, causing frequent or prolonged brake engagement and overheating
• Defective brake coil
• Incorrect brake coil connection
• Mismatched drive (brake coil) and MOVIMOT® frequency inverter combination signaled shortly after first enable
• Incorrect setting of DIP switch S1/6 for combinations of MOVIMOT® and motor with a lower power rating

   Increase the set ramp time

   Perform brake inspection (refer to 'Inspection and maintenance of the brake' section in the manual)

   Check the brake coil connection and correct if necessary

   Check the combination of the drive (brake coil) and MOVIMOT® frequency inverter for compatibility

   Check the setting of DIP switch S1/6 for combinations of MOVIMOT® and motor with one lower power rating

   Reset the error by switching off the DC 24 V supply voltage
