System Configuration Fault

Schneider Electric · XW Pro NA Operation Guide

¿Qué significa F66 ?

This Automatic Fault indicates incorrect multi-unit configuration settings, such as more than one primary unit or non-unique device numbers in a multi-inverter setup. This prevents proper system synchronization and operation.

Causas comunes

  • Multiple inverters configured as 'Master' or 'Primary' units (e.g., P0-02 set to 'Master' on more than one device) in a multi-unit system.
  • Duplicate device IDs or communication addresses (e.g., P0-03 'Device ID') assigned to different inverters on the same communication bus (e.g., CAN bus).
  • Mismatched firmware versions across different units in a multi-inverter system.
  • Communication cable fault (e.g., loose termination resistor, broken wire in CAN bus) preventing proper synchronization messaging.
  • Incorrect system topology parameters (e.g., P0-04 'Parallel Mode') selected for the specific multi-unit setup.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

    1. Access each inverter's configuration menu and verify that only one unit is set as the 'Master' or 'Primary' (e.g., P0-02) and all others are 'Slave' or 'Secondary'.

  2. 2

    2. Ensure all units in the multi-inverter system have unique device IDs or communication addresses (e.g., P0-03) on the network.

  3. 3

    3. Verify that all inverters in the system are running the same firmware version. If not, update firmware on all units to match.

  4. 4

    4. Inspect the communication cabling (e.g., CAN bus, RS485) between units, checking for proper termination resistors (e.g., 120 Ohm) and secure connections at each terminal.

  5. 5

    5. Perform a system-wide reset of configuration parameters on all units, then reconfigure them sequentially, starting with the designated master unit.
