¿Qué significa OCF ?

An overcurrent condition detected, indicating the motor current has exceeded the drive's protective limits. This can stem from mechanical overload, a short circuit in the motor/cabling, or an internal drive fault. Unresolved overcurrent can cause severe damage to the motor, drive, or mechanical system. This fault can be manually cleared if the 'Reset restricted fault configuration' (HrFC) parameter is set to 'Yes'.

• Sudden mechanical jam or high impact load on the motor shaft, causing an abrupt and excessive current draw.
• Short circuit between motor phases (U, V, W) or from a motor phase to ground in the motor or its connecting cable.
• Ramp-up time (Parameter P2-01) set too short, leading to excessive current during motor acceleration from standstill.
• Motor parameter mismatch (e.g., Parameter P1-01 "Motor Rated Current" set too low) or incorrect motor data entry.
• Internal power stage (IGBTs) failure within the drive, resulting in an uncontrolled current surge.

   Disconnect the motor from the drive output (U, V, W) and attempt to run the drive without a motor; if no fault, the issue is external to the drive.

   With the motor disconnected and power isolated, perform a megohmmeter (insulation resistance) test on each motor phase to ground and phase-to-phase.

   Increase the acceleration time (Parameter P2-01) by 10-20% to reduce peak current demand during startup.

   Verify all motor parameters (e.g., P1-01 "Rated Current", P1-02 "Rated Voltage", P1-04 "Rated Speed") are correctly entered and match the motor nameplate.

   Inspect motor output cable (U, V, W) for physical damage, chafing, or signs of a short circuit in the insulation.
