¿Qué significa A-17 ?

This alarm is displayed on the remote terminal when a button has been held down for an extended period (more than 10 seconds), or if the keypad is disconnected. It suggests a physical issue with the terminal's buttons, or a faulty connection of the keypad itself, which can prevent proper input.

• A button on the remote display keypad is physically stuck in the pressed position due to debris, damage, or wear.
• A foreign object (e.g., dust, grit) lodged under a keypad button, causing a continuous contact closure.
• Damage to the keypad membrane or internal circuit board, leading to a permanent 'button pressed' signal.
• The remote display unit was disconnected from the drive while a button was being held down.
• Internal fault within the remote display's input sensing circuit, misinterpreting an open button as pressed.

   1. Carefully inspect the entire remote display keypad for any physically stuck buttons or foreign objects lodged underneath. Gently clean around the buttons.

   2. Perform a tactile test on each keypad button to ensure it depresses and releases smoothly without sticking or resistance.

   3. Disconnect the remote display unit from the drive for at least 10 seconds, then reconnect it, ensuring no buttons are pressed during reconnection.

   4. If possible and safe, gently remove the keypad membrane (if designed for it) and clean the contact points, checking for any physical damage or corrosion.

   5. Attempt to operate the drive using local controls on the drive itself (if available) or via a communication interface to confirm drive functionality is not impaired.
