An emergency shutoff fault is triggered when the safety input terminals GS1/GS2 are activated, initiating a protective shutdown of the inverter. This is a critical safety response, indicating that an external emergency stop device or safety system has detected a hazardous condition and commanded the inverter to cease operation immediately.

• Activation of an external safety device (e.g., E-stop button, safety light curtain, safety gate switch) connected to the GS1/GS2 safety input terminals.
• Short circuit or wiring fault in the safety circuit connected to GS1/GS2, causing an unintended activation of the safety input.
• Malfunction of an internal safety relay or associated safety monitoring circuit within the inverter itself, falsely triggering the safety shutdown.
• Incorrect parameter setting for the safety inputs, such as A1-01 (Safety Input Configuration) not matching the actual external safety circuit wiring.
