¿Qué significa Fan alarm ?

The cooling fan is either at a standstill despite being required to operate, or its speed has decelerated significantly. This indicates a potential failure of the cooling fan, which is critical for dissipating heat from the inverter's internal components. Continued operation without proper cooling will lead to overheating and subsequent damage to the inverter.

• Cooling fan motor failure (e.g., worn bearings, seized rotor), preventing rotation or causing reduced speed.
• Accumulation of dust, debris, or foreign objects obstructing the fan blades, causing it to slow down or stop.
• Loss of power to the cooling fan due to a faulty internal connection or power supply circuit.
• Fan speed monitoring circuit failure, although the fan might still be operating.
• Inverter operating in a high ambient temperature environment, pushing the fan beyond its normal operating limits.

   Visually inspect the inverter's cooling fan(s) for physical damage, obstructions (e.g., dust, lint), or seized blades.

   Using an air compressor, clean the cooling fins and fan blades to remove any accumulated debris.

   Measure the voltage supplied to the cooling fan (if accessible and safe to do so) to confirm it matches the fan's rating.

   Gently attempt to spin the fan blades by hand (when power is OFF) to check for free movement and bearing condition.

   If the fan is confirmed faulty (e.g., does not spin, noisy, low speed), replace the cooling fan unit according to the inverter manufacturer's instructions.
