E. 1

Option fault

Mitsubishi Electric · FR E700

¿Qué significa E. 1 ?

This fault stops the inverter output, triggered either by excessive electrical noise in the environment or an incorrect setting of the manufacturer's internal switch. Such conditions can lead to unreliable inverter operation or unexpected shutdowns. Identifying and addressing the source of noise or the switch position is crucial for stable performance.

Causas comunes

  • Excessive electrical noise interference on control signals or power lines (e.g., from unshielded cables, welding equipment).
  • Manufacturer's internal DIP switch or jumper (e.g., for voltage/current source selection) set incorrectly for the application.
  • Poor grounding integrity of the inverter chassis or motor frame causing circulating currents and signal noise.
  • Internal component failure within the communication option card causing unreliable operation.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

Verify the setting of all internal DIP switches or jumpers on the inverter's control board against the installation manual diagram.

  2. 2

Measure the ground impedance between the inverter chassis and the main facility ground point (should be less than 0.1 Ohm).

  3. 3

Inspect all signal cables for proper shielding connection (shield drain wire connected at one end) and separation from power cables.

  4. 4

Confirm that the AC input power quality meets specifications (e.g., voltage within +/- 10% tolerance, THD less than 5%).

  5. 5

Temporarily remove any installed option cards and restart the inverter to isolate the fault source.
