Ballast Resistor R1 Overtemperature
Kuka · Sunrise Cabinet Med Controller
¿Qué significa Temp Fault On ?
The 'Temp Fault' Red LED is ON, indicating an overtemperature condition at the ballast resistor R1. This suggests that the ballast resistor is dissipating excessive heat, potentially due to insufficient cooling in the control box, a faulty ballast resistor, or an issue with its temperature sensor. Prolonged overtemperature can lead to component damage or system shutdown.
Causas comunes
- The ballast resistor R1 has reached an overtemperature condition.
- Excessive heat generated by the ballast resistor during braking or regeneration.
- The temperature sensor for Ballast Resistor R1 has exceeded its safety limit.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Check the integrity and ensure proper seating of connector X501.
- 2
Inspect the control box cooling system, including fans and vents, for any obstructions or failures.
- 3
Check the temperature sensor located at the central position on ballast resistor R1, which is on the right-hand inner wall of the control box, for proper function and connection.
