STOP 2

Safety Stop 2

Kuka · Industrial Robots Use & Programming

¿Qué significa STOP 2 ?

A Safety STOP 2 has been triggered and is monitored by the safety controller. During this stop, the robot drives remain activated and the brakes are released. The manipulator and any external axes are decelerated using a path-maintaining braking ramp, and a safe operational stop is initiated upon reaching standstill.

Causas comunes

  • Changing the operating mode (e.g., T1, T2, AUT, AUT EXT) while a robot program is currently running.
  • Brief release of an enabling switch (a panic position press would trigger STOP 1).
  • Holding two enabling switches simultaneously in the center position for an extended period.
  • Safety controller detecting a condition requiring a controlled stop without immediate power removal.
