Overcurrent: Short in Powerstage
Indramat · ECODRIVE Controller
¿Qué significa F860 ?
This is a fatal error indicating an internal short circuit within the ECODRIVE DKC01.1/DKC11.1 drive's power stage, leading to excessive current flow. This fault immediately causes the drive to shut down to prevent further damage.
Causas comunes
- Internal failure of power semiconductor components (e.g., IGBTs) within the drive.
- Motor winding short circuit or insulation breakdown causing high current demand.
- Short circuit in motor cables or connection points (e.g., terminal box).
- Severe mechanical overload or sudden jam causing excessive motor current.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Disconnect motor power cables from the ECODRIVE DKC01.1/DKC11.1 drive and check for short circuits between motor phases and to ground using a megohmmeter.
- 2
Inspect the motor and load for any mechanical binding, obstructions, or excessive load that could cause extreme current.
- 3
Verify motor winding integrity by measuring resistance between phases and insulation resistance to ground.
- 4
If external checks are clear and the fault persists, it indicates an internal power stage failure; the ECODRIVE DKC01.1/DKC11.1 drive controller must be exchanged.
