Travel Limit Value Exceeded
Indramat · dds 2.1 digital servo drive User Manual
¿Qué significa S-0-0011 Bit 13 ?
A Class 1 Diagnostic indicating that the motor or driven axis has reached or exceeded its software or hardware travel limits. This safety mechanism prevents mechanical damage by initiating an immediate drive shutdown. The drive decelerates to zero speed and shuts down torque. This condition is reset only after the cause is cleared and the command 'Reset Class 1 Diagnostics' is received via the service channel.
Causas comunes
- Axis physically traveled beyond a configured software limit switch.
- Axis triggered a hardware limit switch (positive or negative) due to commanded motion or mechanical overrun.
- Incorrectly configured software travel limits in the DDS 2.1 drive or master controller parameters.
- Faulty or incorrectly wired hardware limit switches.
- Incorrect homing procedure or a homing offset error, leading the axis to start too close to a limit.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Inspect the physical axis for any obstructions or mechanical overtravel that may have caused the limit to be reached.
- 2
Verify the functionality and wiring of both positive and negative hardware limit switches.
- 3
Review and adjust the software travel limits configured in the DDS 2.1 drive or master controller (e.g., P-0-0049 Target Position, or related limit parameters).
- 4
Check the homing procedure and homing offset parameters to ensure the axis homes correctly within the safe travel range.
- 5
Manually jog the axis (if safe to do so) away from the limit switch, then reset the error.
