This alarm indicates that a servo module within the Fanuc Series 20 CNC system is either incorrectly mounted, not detected, or has a communication issue related to its physical connection. This prevents proper initialization and operation of the servo axis.

• Servo amplifier module incorrectly seated in its backplane or rack.
• Loose or damaged communication link (e.g., serial or bus cable) between the servo module and the main control unit.
• Faulty servo module or backplane connector.
• Dust or debris obstructing electrical contacts.
• Incorrect module configuration for the system.

   Power off the CNC system completely and inspect the servo amplifier modules. Reseat them firmly into their respective slots or backplane connectors.
