LCP data not compatible

Danfoss · VLT Micro Drive FC 51

¿Qué significa 88 ?

An attempt to copy parameters from the LCP to the drive (or vice versa) failed because the data stored in the LCP is not compatible with the software version of the frequency converter. This often happens when moving LCPs between drives with significantly different firmware versions.

Causas comunes

  • Drive firmware version (e.g., Parameter 15-05) is significantly different from the firmware version used when the LCP data was originally saved.
  • LCP data originated from a different series or generation of frequency converter, causing incompatible parameter addressing.
  • Parameter set stored in the LCP contains features or settings not supported by the current drive's installed options.
  • Minor data structure changes between firmware revisions that prevent direct translation of the LCP content.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

Verify the drive's current firmware version (e.g., Parameter 15-05) and compare it to the expected firmware version for the LCP data.

  2. 2

Use configuration software (e.g., MCT10) to upload the LCP data, then perform a firmware upgrade/downgrade on the drive to match the LCP data's origin.

  3. 3

Manually re-enter critical parameters from a known-good LCP printout or backup file to avoid direct copying incompatibility.

  4. 4

If available, try to transfer the LCP data to a PC via configuration software and then convert or adapt it for the current drive's firmware.

  5. 5

Consider using a new LCP and manually entering parameters if the firmware mismatch is substantial and no conversion tool is available.
