External interlock
Danfoss · VLT HVAC Drive FC 102
¿Qué significa 60 ?
A digital input signal has indicated an external fault condition, causing the frequency converter to trip. This means an external safety or control system has commanded the drive to stop due to a detected issue. The external fault must be cleared before normal operation can resume.
Causas comunes
- Activation of an external safety device (e.g., emergency stop, limit switch, safety guard interlock) connected to a digital input.
- Fault in the field wiring to the digital input (e.g., loose wire, short to ground, broken wire) causing unintended activation.
- A programmable logic controller (PLC) or external control system commanding the interlock due to a detected process fault.
- Incorrect configuration of the digital input function (e.g., P5-10 Terminal 18 Digital Input) in the drive parameters.
- Transient electrical noise on the digital input wiring, falsely triggering the interlock signal.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Identify which digital input (e.g., Terminal 18, 19, 27) is configured for the external interlock function (refer to P5-10 to P5-15).
- 2
Verify the physical status of the external safety device or control system connected to the identified digital input.
- 3
Measure the voltage at the relevant digital input terminal to confirm the signal status (e.g., 24VDC for active, 0VDC for inactive).
- 4
Check the wiring integrity from the external device to the drive's digital input terminals for shorts, opens, or loose connections.
- 5
Review the drive's event log (P15-30 Fault Log) for additional information about which input triggered the fault.
- 6
Temporarily disable the interlock function in parameters (e.g., P5-10 set to 'No operation') for troubleshooting, only if safe and permissible.
