Control Variable (CV) Health Bad

¿Qué significa CVFaulted (Status1.2) ?

This fault indicates that the Control Variable (CV) health is bad. This can be due to poor CV value quality, an invalid CV value, or a communication fault affecting the CV output. When true, CVFault indicates an error on the output module, and the PIDE instruction sets the appropriate bit in Status. The equivalent Sts_CVBad in the PPID instruction will also be set if Inp_CVIOFault is true.

• CV value quality is bad or invalid (e.g., Inf, -Inf, NaN)
• Communication fault with the CV output module
• Analog output module fault status indicates an error (Inp_CVIOFault = 1 for PPID)

   Verify the analog output signal from the CV output module (e.g., terminals) using a multimeter or process calibrator

   Check the communication status of the CV output module in the I/O tree, looking for module faults
