• Attempting to set an invalid or out-of-range value for an I/O bus master parameter (e.g., P3-01 Baud Rate).
• GSD file (General Station Description) for the I/O bus master is corrupted or incorrect.
• Communication conflict with another device on the same bus trying to write parameters.
• Firmware bug in the I/O bus master preventing proper parameter handling.
• Hardware fault in the non-volatile memory storing master configuration parameters.
