Pointer Parameter Error
ABB · ACS560 Standard Control Program Firmware
¿Qué significa FFD0 ?
A source selection (pointer) parameter has been configured to point to a non-existent parameter index. This indicates a configuration error in the drive's settings, which can lead to incorrect parameter referencing and potentially erratic or undefined drive behavior.
Causas comunes
- An output reference parameter (e.g., P5-01, P6-02) is configured to point to a non-existent parameter index (e.g., P30-99) within the drive's firmware.
- Manual entry error during parameter configuration, where an invalid numeric parameter index was entered into a pointer-type parameter.
- Loading an old parameter set (backup) from a different drive model or firmware version that has distinct parameter mapping, leading to invalid pointers.
- Corruption of the drive's internal parameter memory, resulting in an invalid or out-of-range pointer address being stored.
- Specific feature or parameter associated with the pointer was removed or re-indexed in a firmware update, rendering existing pointers invalid.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Identify the specific pointer parameter (e.g., P5-01) causing the error from the drive's fault log or diagnostic screen.
- 2
Access the identified pointer parameter (e.g., P5-01) and verify its configured value, which represents the target parameter index.
- 3
Cross-reference the target parameter index (e.g., 3099) with the drive's current parameter manual to confirm its existence and validity for the installed firmware.
- 4
If the target parameter index is invalid, reset the pointer parameter (e.g., P5-01) to a known valid index (e.g., 0 for no selection) or a valid, existing parameter (e.g., P3-01 for Analog Input 1).
- 5
If the parameter set was loaded from a backup, verify the drive model and firmware version of the source backup match the current drive's specifications (e.g., displayed via P0-03).
- 6
Perform a factory reset of the drive (e.g., using parameter P0-99 set to 1) and meticulously reconfigure essential parameters, paying close attention to all pointer parameter settings.
