Terminal Board not Connected
Yaskawa · V1000
What does CPF25 mean?
This fault indicates that the terminal board is not correctly connected to the drive. This critical physical connection issue prevents proper communication and control signal input/output, rendering the drive inoperable. It must be resolved for the drive to function.
Common Causes
- Terminal board not fully seated into the main drive connector.
- Damaged or bent pins on the drive's main connector or the terminal board itself.
- Vibration causing the terminal board to work loose over time.
- Debris or foreign material obstructing the terminal board connector contacts.
- Corrosion on the connector contacts due to environmental factors.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
1. Disconnect all incoming AC power (L1, L2, L3) and control power (e.g., 24VDC) to the drive.
- 2
2. Carefully remove the terminal board from the drive.
- 3
3. Inspect the connector pins on both the terminal board and the drive for damage, bending, or corrosion.
- 4
4. Clean connector contacts with a lint-free cloth and electrical contact cleaner if contamination is present.
- 5
5. Re-seat the terminal board firmly until an audible click or positive engagement is felt.
- 6
6. Secure the drive panel cover to prevent further dislodgement due to vibration.
