Frequency converter undertemperature
Vacon · NXP/C
What does 13 mean?
The heatsink temperature of the frequency converter has fallen below –10 °C. Operating the drive outside its specified temperature range can impact component performance and lifespan.
Common Causes
- Internal temperature of the frequency converter too low.
- Ambient temperature below operating range.
- Faulty temperature sensor (P1-30) in the converter.
- Inadequate ventilation or blocked airflow.
- Low load operation leading to reduced internal heating.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Verify the ambient temperature around the frequency converter's heatsink and ensure it is maintained above –10 °C.
- 2
