Communication between the Master and Follower drives has been lost via SystemBus or CAN. This indicates a broken communication link, preventing coordinated operation between the units.
Common Causes
- Communication failure between a master and a follower drive/device.
- Incorrect follower address or configuration (e.g., P9-01).
- Network cabling issue between devices.
- Follower device powered off or not initialized.
- Data corruption during follower communication.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Verify the option board parameters related to SystemBus or CAN communication for correct configuration (e.g., node ID, baud rate).
- 2
Inspect the optical fibre cable or CAN cable for physical damage, proper connections, and correct termination between master and follower drives.
