EEPROM checksum fault
Vacon · 100 FLOW Application Guide
What does 22 mean?
A parameter save fault has occurred, indicating an issue with storing data to or retrieving data from the EEPROM. This can be due to faulty operation or a component failure within the EEPROM memory.
Common Causes
- Corruption of data stored in the EEPROM parameter memory.
- Failure of the EEPROM memory chip itself.
- Interruption during parameter writing or saving process.
- Electromagnetic interference corrupting EEPROM data.
- Aging or wear of the EEPROM memory.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Perform a full parameter reset to factory defaults (e.g., set P1-01 to 2).
- 2
After reset, re-enter critical parameters manually and save.
- 3
If the fault persists, attempt to read EEPROM content if a diagnostic tool allows.
- 4
Ensure stable power supply during parameter modification and saving.
- 5
Replace the device if the fault consistently reappears after parameter reset and re-entry.
