Free Setting V/f Frequency 7 Exceeds Upper Limit
Omron · MX2 Inverter
What does 091 mean?
This warning occurs when the seventh point of the free setting V/f curve (b112), which also acts as the maximum frequency in this mode, is set higher than the frequency upper limit (A061). This creates an inconsistent operational boundary for V/f control, limiting the actual achievable frequency.
Common Causes
- Parameter b112 (Free setting V/f curve frequency point 7) is configured with a value exceeding parameter A061 (Frequency upper limit).
- An incorrect V/f curve profile was entered during setup, causing b112 to inadvertently exceed the system's global frequency upper limit A061.
- During system commissioning, parameter A061 was set to a value lower than the intended operating maximum frequency defined by b112.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Read the current value of parameter b112 (Free setting V/f curve frequency point 7) and parameter A061 (Frequency upper limit) from the drive's display or programming software.
- 2
Adjust parameter b112 to be less than or equal to the desired A061, ensuring the V/f curve point respects the frequency upper limit.
- 3
Alternatively, if a higher maximum operational frequency is required, increase parameter A061 to a value greater than or equal to b112, within motor and application limits.
- 4
Save the new parameter settings to non-volatile memory and cycle power to the inverter to apply changes.
