Lower Limit Exceeds Multi-step Speed Reference 0
Omron · MX2 Inverter
What does 025 mean?
This warning indicates that the frequency lower limit (A062) is set higher than the Multi-step speed reference 0 (A020) or the output frequency setting (F001). This creates a logical inconsistency where the minimum allowed frequency is greater than a programmed speed reference, potentially limiting operation.
Common Causes
- A062 (Frequency Lower Limit) was manually configured to a value exceeding A020 (Multi-step Speed Ref 0).
- A020 (Multi-step Speed Ref 0) was inadvertently lowered to a value below the configured A062.
- An external frequency command (driving F001) is scaled incorrectly or experiencing noise, causing it to momentarily fall below A062 while A020 is active.
- A logical inconsistency introduced during parameter setup, where the minimum operating frequency is set above a specific speed reference.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Access parameters A062 (Frequency Lower Limit) and A020 (Multi-step Speed Reference 0). Compare their values.
- 2
Adjust A062 (Frequency Lower Limit) to be less than or equal to A020 (Multi-step Speed Reference 0).
- 3
Alternatively, if the application requires A020 to be higher, increase A020 (Multi-step Speed Reference 0) to be equal to or greater than A062.
- 4
If F001 (Output Frequency) is causing the issue when A020 is active, monitor the actual output frequency and verify consistency with A020.
- 5
Save the parameter changes and power cycle the drive to confirm the settings are active.
