What does E.RET mean?

This fault indicates that the FR-A800/A800 Plus Series drive has attempted to clear a previous fault and restart operation multiple times, as configured by auto-restart parameters, but has failed to do so within the allowed retry count. This points to a persistent underlying issue.

• An underlying fault (e.g., overcurrent, overvoltage) that consistently reoccurs after each retry attempt.
• Incorrect auto-restart parameter settings, such as too many retries or insufficient delay between retries.
• External conditions that repeatedly trigger protective functions (e.g., intermittent power supply issues, unstable load).
• A persistent mechanical problem that repeatedly causes motor overload.
