What does SYNCHRONISATION ERROR DRIVE MODULE Ax mean?
The maximum permissible number of communication errors with the servo bus for the specified axis (Ax) has been exceeded. Too many consecutive toggle bit errors are a common cause, leading to short-circuit braking.
Common Causes
- Loss of communication on the servo bus (e.g., EtherCAT, Profinet).
- Incorrect network configuration or cabling for the servo drive.
- Faulty drive module or controller interfering with bus traffic.
- Synchronization offset exceeding allowed limits (P5-01).
