Max Travel Lmt 2
Indramat · ServoDyn D Servo Drive
What does 35 mean?
This error occurs in Automatic mode for Axis 2 if the commanded position is greater than the value configured in Parameter 52 (Maximum Travel Limit A2). The system detects an attempt to move Axis 2 beyond its defined maximum operational boundary.
Common Causes
- The programmed command attempts to move Axis 2 above its Maximum Travel Limit set in Parameter 52.
- Parameter 52 (Maximum Travel Limit A2) is set incorrectly or too low for the actual mechanical limits of Axis 2.
- Overshoot of Axis 2 during acceleration or homing, causing it to briefly exceed the maximum limit.
- Incorrect position gain (Parameter 45) or tuning, leading to poor positioning accuracy for Axis 2.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
The Axis 2 commanded position has exceeded the Axis 2 maximum travel limit.
- 2
Ensure that Parameter 52 (Maximum Travel Limit A2) is correctly set to reflect the actual maximum mechanical travel limit for Axis 2.
- 3
Adjust the user program to ensure that commanded positions for Axis 2 do not exceed the value specified in Parameter 52.
- 4
Optimize the position gain (Parameter 45) for Axis 2 to improve acceleration and stopping accuracy if overshoot is observed.
- 5
Inspect the mechanical system for any binding or obstructions that could restrict movement or cause overtravel for Axis 2.
