Mains failure
Indramat · IndraDrive MPx02
What does E2819 mean?
The IndraDrive MPx02 has detected a complete loss of the incoming AC mains power supply. This means the drive is no longer receiving power from the grid and will initiate a controlled shutdown or ride-through sequence based on its configuration, as it cannot sustain operation.
Common Causes
- Main circuit breaker tripped or fuse blown for the entire system supplying the drive.
- Emergency stop activated cutting off main power to the machine.
- Power utility outage affecting the facility or a section of the plant.
- Complete disconnection of the mains power cable to the drive.
- Fault in the upstream power supply or distribution system.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Check the main circuit breaker or fuses supplying power to the entire machine or system for the IndraDrive MPx02 and restore power if tripped/blown.
- 2
Verify that no emergency stop button or safety interlock has been activated, which would cut off mains power.
- 3
Measure the incoming AC mains voltage at the drive's input terminals (L1, L2, L3) to confirm the complete absence of voltage.
- 4
Inspect the mains power cable for any physical damage or disconnections.
- 5
Contact the power utility or check the building's main electrical panel if the entire plant or section is without power.
