F383

Line voltage fault

Indramat · CLM01.3-M Flying Cutoff Control

What does F383 mean?

With HVR power supply units only! The mains voltage exceeds permissible tolerances of 3x 380...480V, ± 10%. This fault occurs when the incoming supply voltage is outside the acceptable operating range for the Indramat HVR power supply unit.

Common Causes

  • Mains voltage exceeds permissible tolerance (3x 380...480V, ± 10%) at the HVR power supply unit input.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Measure the incoming line voltage (phase-to-phase) at the input terminals of the Indramat HVR power supply unit (X1/L1, X1/L2, X1/L3).

  2. 2

Verify the measured voltage is consistently within the specified range of 3x 380...480V, ± 10%.

  3. 3

If the voltage is outside the range, check the upstream power distribution system for issues or ensure a correctly sized and configured matching transformer is used.

  4. 4

Consult the power utility if persistent voltage fluctuations or incorrect supply levels are detected on the main supply.
