F360

Overcurrent power supply unit

Indramat · CLM01.3-M Flying Cutoff Control

What does F360 mean?

With HVR power supply units only! This fault indicates an overcurrent condition within the Indramat HVR power supply unit, potentially caused by a short circuit in the power supply unit itself, a connected drive controller, the motor, or the motor cable.

Common Causes

  • Short-circuit within the HVR power supply unit.
  • Short-circuit in a connected drive controller.
  • Short-circuit in the motor or motor cable.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

De-energize the Indramat HVR power supply unit and ensure all power is locked out.

  2. 2

Systematically disconnect the power supply lines to individual Indramat DIAX04 SSE-03VRS drive controllers connected to the HVR unit, one at a time.

  3. 3

Check the power cables and motor windings for each drive controller and motor for short circuits or ground faults using a multimeter or insulation tester.

  4. 4

Re-energize the HVR unit, reconnecting drive controllers one by one, to isolate the specific component causing the overcurrent fault.

  5. 5

If the fault persists with all loads disconnected, the short circuit is likely internal to the HVR power supply unit, requiring its replacement.
