What does SRVO-216 mean?

The total current flowing through the motors for all six axes is excessively large. This usually indicates that the robot is operating beyond its specified duty cycle or maximum load weight ratings, or there's an electrical fault causing high current draw.

Common Causes

  • The servo system is experiencing a total overcurrent condition across all axes or a significant portion of them.
  • Excessive current draw is being detected by the servo drives, which can be caused by multiple axis overloads, short circuits, or amplifier faults.
  • This is a critical fault that will likely shut down all servo motion for safety.
  • Investigate all axes for mechanical binding, motor issues, or wiring faults.
