P5V
+5V Power Supply Fault
Fanuc · R-30iB Mate + Mate Plus Robot
What does P5V mean?
The P5V (Green) LED indicates that the internal power supply circuit of the servo amplifier is normally outputting +5 V. If this LED does not light, it signifies a failure in the +5V power supply within the servo amplifier, or a ground fault on the +5V wire of the robot connection cable (RP1/RMP1).
Common Causes
- Internal +5V power supply within the servo controller or related module has failed.
- Short circuit on a +5V power line.
- Overload condition on the +5V power rail.
- Faulty voltage regulator for the +5V supply.
- Component failure on the power supply board.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Check the robot connection cable (RP1/RMP1) to see if there is a ground fault in the +5V wire.
- 2
Replace the servo amplifier.
