What does Err. mean?

An incorrect password was entered when attempting to access or modify a password-protected parameter or menu on the LCP. This security feature prevents unauthorized configuration changes to the drive, ensuring operational integrity.

• Incorrect numerical password entered via the LCP when attempting to access a locked menu (e.g., 'Menu 0 - Operation').
• Forgetting or mistyping the user-defined password (e.g., set in Parameter 16-00, 'Access code' or other security parameters).
• Attempting to access a higher access level (e.g., 'Advanced', 'Expert') without the correct corresponding password set in Parameter 16-00.
• Password parameter (e.g., Parameter 16-00) reset to default, but an old, incorrect password is still being used.
• Multiple failed attempts causing a temporary lockout feature to activate.

   Re-enter the known password carefully, ensuring no digits are mistyped and verifying the numerical value.

   If the password is unknown, refer to the plant's documentation or the drive's default password (often '0', or four-digit default specified in manual).

   Attempt to reset the password by setting Parameter 16-00 (Access code) to '0' (User defined) and then changing the password if access is possible.
