UV2

Control Power Supply Undervoltage

Yaskawa · E7 Drive

Was bedeutet UV2 ?

An undervoltage condition detected in the Drive's control circuit while it is running. This can be caused by an external load connected to the drive pulling down its internal power supplies, or a fault within the control board itself, indicating a problem with the internal 24VDC or 15VDC supply.

Häufige Ursachen

  • Excessive current draw from the drive's internal 24VDC or 10VDC auxiliary power supply terminals by external devices (e.g., sensors, PLCs, HMIs).
  • External short circuit on the drive's auxiliary 24VDC or 10VDC output terminals causing a voltage sag.
  • Failure of an internal control power supply component (e.g., DC-DC converter, rectifier) within the drive.
  • Input AC control power voltage sag below the specified minimum (e.g., less than 85% of nominal) if the drive uses an independent control supply.
  • Degradation of internal filter capacitors within the control power supply circuit reducing voltage stability.

Reparaturschritte & Checkliste

Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.

  1. 1

Safely disconnect all power to the drive. Disconnect all external devices connected to the drive's auxiliary 24VDC and 10VDC output terminals.

  2. 2

Reconnect power to the drive (without external loads) and observe if the fault clears.

  3. 3

If the fault clears, reconnect external devices one by one to the 24VDC and 10VDC terminals while monitoring the drive's status, to identify the problematic device or overcurrent draw.

  4. 4

Measure the voltage output at the drive's 24VDC and 10VDC auxiliary power supply terminals with a multimeter to verify they are within tolerance (e.g., 24V +/- 5%).

  5. 5

Check the incoming AC control power supply voltage at the drive's control terminals (e.g., R/L1, S/L2, T/L3 or specific control power terminals) and ensure it meets the drive's specifications.
