Follower fault
Vacon · NXS NXP
Was bedeutet 74 ?
In a Master-Follower configuration, this fault code is generated when one or more of the follower drives trip into a fault state. This indicates an underlying issue with a specific follower drive, which then propagates to the master. The master cannot resume normal operation until the root fault on the follower drive(s) is identified and resolved.
Häufige Ursachen
- One of the follower drives has experienced an internal fault (e.g., overcurrent, overvoltage, motor overload) independent of the master.
- Communication loss to a specific follower drive, causing it to fault out (e.g., similar to Code 59).
- Mechanical issue on the follower's motor or load, causing it to draw excessive current or stall.
- Incorrect configuration of a follower drive parameter (e.g., P1-01 for motor power, P1-02 for motor voltage) leading to individual fault.
- Power supply issue to one of the follower drives (e.g., phase loss, undervoltage).
Reparaturschritte & Checkliste
Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.
- 1
Identify the specific follower drive that is reporting the fault by checking its local display or error log.
- 2
Access the identified follower drive's fault history or status screen to determine the specific fault code (e.g., Code 11 Overcurrent).
- 3
Check the power supply (e.g., R, S, T terminals) to the faulty follower drive using a multimeter for correct voltage and phase presence.
- 4
Verify communication status (e.g., activity LEDs) on the faulty follower drive's communication option board.
- 5
Inspect the motor and mechanical load connected to the faulty follower drive for any mechanical binding or obstruction.
- 6
Compare key operating parameters (e.g., P1-01, P1-02, P1-03) of the faulty follower drive with a working follower drive for discrepancies.
