Fieldbus fault
Vacon · NXS NXP
Was bedeutet 53 ?
The data connection between the fieldbus master and the drive's fieldbus option board is defective, leading to a loss of communication. This prevents the drive from being controlled or monitored via the fieldbus network, disrupting integrated system operations. An incorrect installation or a faulty fieldbus master are common causes.
Häufige Ursachen
- Broken or incorrectly terminated fieldbus cable (e.g., Profibus DP, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP) between the drive and the master PLC.
- Incorrect fieldbus address or baud rate settings in the drive (e.g., P7-20 (Fieldbus address), P7-21 (Baud rate)) or the master device.
- Faulty fieldbus option board in the drive, preventing proper data exchange.
- Fieldbus master (PLC) communication module failure or incorrect configuration.
- Excessive network traffic, electrical noise, or ground loop issues on the fieldbus network.
Reparaturschritte & Checkliste
Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.
- 1
Visually inspect the fieldbus cable for damage and verify correct termination resistors are in place (if required, e.g., Profibus).
- 2
Check the fieldbus status LEDs on the drive's fieldbus option board for specific error indications (e.g., BF, SF LEDs).
- 3
Verify parameter P7-20 (Fieldbus address) and P7-21 (Fieldbus baud rate) match the master PLC's configuration.
- 4
Check the fieldbus master (PLC) for any communication errors or status messages related to the drive's node.
- 5
Use a fieldbus diagnostic tool to check network health, signal integrity, and identify duplicate addresses.
- 6
If available, temporarily replace the fieldbus option board with a known good one.
