- Main contactor or input isolation switch with one pole open or a high resistance contact.
- Drive is a three-phase unit connected to a single-phase supply without proper configuration or if the drive is not rated for single-phase operation.

1. Measure the incoming line voltages (L1-L2, L2-L3, L3-L1) at the drive input terminals using a multimeter; confirm all three phases are present and balanced.

2. Inspect all fuses in the input power circuit (main fuses, control circuit fuses) for continuity using an ohmmeter; replace any blown fuses with specified ratings.

3. Tighten all input power terminal screws (L1, L2, L3) on the drive and at any upstream contactors, circuit breakers, or terminal blocks.

4. If an input contactor is used, manually operate it to check for proper pole closure and measure voltage across each contact (should be 0V when closed).

5. Check drive parameters for single-phase operation settings (e.g., Parameter LIS) if applicable, and ensure drive is rated for single-phase supply if connected that way.

6. Verify the integrity of the main supply cable by performing a continuity test from the source to the drive input terminals.
