%U

Main Circuit Overvoltage

This fault indicates that the DC voltage of the main circuit has exceeded its safe limit. If occurring while stopped (warning state), it typically means the power supply voltage is too high. If occurring when the protective mechanism is actuated (during operation), it's usually due to excessive regenerative energy from the motor, often caused by short deceleration times or overshoot during acceleration, pushing the DC bus voltage above approximately 410V (or 820V for 400-VAC Class). Unresolved overvoltage can damage inverter components.

%c

%h

Radiation Fin Overheated

This fault indicates that the inverter's radiation fin temperature has exceeded its operational limit. In a warning state (when stopped), it signifies overheating during idle conditions. If the protective mechanism is actuated, it means the overheating is severe enough to shut down the inverter during operation. This is often caused by high ambient temperatures or insufficient cooling, which can lead to reduced lifespan or damage to the inverter.

STP

Digital Operator Stopped

This warning occurs when the STOP/RESET Key on the Digital Operator is pressed while the Inverter is being operated using external control circuit terminals (SF and SR). The inverter will decelerate and stop the motor, indicating a conflict or manual override of the external run command.

ef

Simultaneous Forward/Reverse Rotation Command

This warning occurs when both forward and reverse rotation commands are simultaneously detected for 0.5 seconds or more. The inverter will decelerate and stop the motor to prevent conflicting commands and potential damage. It indicates an issue in the control sequence logic.

uU

Main Circuit Undervoltage

This warning indicates that the DC voltage of the main circuit has dropped below its low-voltage detection level while the Inverter is stopped. This typically points to an issue with the incoming power supply or its connection to the inverter. Prolonged undervoltage can prevent proper inverter startup or operation.
