S-0-0011 Bit 6

Commutation Error

Indramat · dds 2.1 digital servo drive User Manual

Was bedeutet S-0-0011 Bit 6 ?

A Class 1 Diagnostic indicating that the DDS 2.1 drive cannot correctly determine or maintain the motor's magnetic pole position for proper commutation. This critical error results in a loss of motor control and drive shutdown. The drive decelerates to zero speed and shuts down torque. This condition is reset only after the cause is cleared and the command 'Reset Class 1 Diagnostics' is received via the service channel.

Häufige Ursachen

  • Incorrect motor phase wiring (U, V, W) between the DDS 2.1 drive and the motor.
  • Incorrect wiring or fault in the motor feedback device that provides commutation information (e.g., Hall sensors, encoder with commutation tracks).
  • Incorrect motor parameters (e.g., pole pairs, commutation offset) configured in the drive.
  • Demagnetization of the motor's permanent magnets.
  • Faulty internal current sensors or control logic within the DDS 2.1 drive affecting commutation calculations.

Reparaturschritte & Checkliste

Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.

  1. 1

Verify the motor power cable connections (U, V, W) at the drive and motor are correct and secure.

  2. 2

Check the wiring and integrity of the commutation feedback signals (e.g., Hall sensors, encoder signals) from the motor to the drive.

  3. 3

Review and confirm that all motor-specific parameters in the DDS 2.1 drive (e.g., motor type, pole pairs, commutation offset) match the motor nameplate and specifications.

  4. 4

Perform a motor auto-tuning or commutation alignment procedure if available and applicable for the DDS 2.1 drive.

  5. 5

Inspect the motor for any signs of physical damage or demagnetization, which could affect commutation.
