Over-heat of Control Module (ECM)
Fanuc · Macro B CNC Programming
Was bedeutet 9 ?
The Energy Charge Module's (ECM) Control Module has detected an abnormal over-heat condition via its built-in thermostat. Continuous operation in this state can shorten the life of electronic components and degrade ECM performance, potentially leading to other failures.
Häufige Ursachen
- Control module (ECM) temperature exceeds operational limit P1-80.
- Cooling fan failure or obstruction for the ECM.
- Excessive ambient temperature around the ECM.
- High operational load causing increased heat generation within the ECM.
- Blocked heatsink or ventilation on the ECM.
Reparaturschritte & Checkliste
Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.
- 1
Immediately stop the machine using the emergency stop button and open the external Main Circuit Contactor (MCC) of the Power supply.
- 2
Check the cooling fan of the Control Module (A06B-6158-H010) for proper operation and ensure it is not blocked by dust or debris.
- 3
Verify that the ambient temperature around the Control Module is within the specified operating range (0 to 55°C, page 49).
- 4
Ensure proper ventilation and air circulation within the power magnetics cabinet (Section G.2.3, page 460). Clear any obstructions.
- 5
Inspect the heat sink of the Control Module for dust accumulation or damage, which can reduce cooling efficiency.
