AMA interrupted by user

Danfoss · VLT HVAC Drive FC 102

Was bedeutet 56 ?

The Automatic Motor Adaptation (AMA) process was intentionally stopped by the user. If this was unintentional, it means AMA did not complete its motor characterization. This will prevent the drive from optimizing motor control and protection based on the motor's actual electrical properties.

Häufige Ursachen

  • User pressing the 'Stop' or 'Reset' button on the drive keypad during the active AMA process.
  • Activation of an external digital input (e.g., Terminal 18) configured to stop or reset the drive during AMA.
  • Loss of control power (e.g., 24VDC) to the drive during the execution of the AMA sequence.
  • Communication timeout or fault from a master controller (e.g., PLC) interrupting the AMA command via fieldbus.
  • Accidental power cycle or brief power interruption to the frequency converter during the AMA routine.

Reparaturschritte & Checkliste

Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.

  1. 1

Confirm if the interruption was intentional; if unintentional, identify the source of the interruption.

  2. 2

Ensure no digital inputs configured for stop or reset functions (e.g., P5-10 Terminal 18 Digital Input) are active during AMA.

  3. 3

Verify that stable control power (e.g., at terminals 12, 13) is maintained throughout the entire AMA execution.

  4. 4

If controlled via fieldbus, check for communication errors, network cable integrity, or timeouts from the master controller.

  5. 5

Re-initiate the AMA process (P1-29 Motor Adaptation) and closely observe the drive to prevent accidental interruption.
