AMA low I nom
Danfoss · VLT HVAC Drive FC 102
Was bedeutet 52 ?
The motor current is detected as too low for the Automatic Motor Adaptation (AMA) process to properly function. This may indicate an incorrect motor data entry or an undersized motor for the drive's capabilities. Incorrect current settings hinder accurate motor characterization and optimal drive performance.
Häufige Ursachen
- Motor nominal current (P1-22) is set too low relative to the drive's minimum threshold for accurate AMA measurements.
- Motor power (P1-20) is significantly undersized for the frequency converter, resulting in very low test currents during AMA.
- High impedance in the motor cabling or connections (e.g., loose terminals, undersized wires) reducing actual current flow.
- A partial open circuit in one or more motor phases (e.g., poor terminal contact) causing an abnormally low current.
- Motor windings having unusually high impedance for their rated power, leading to lower-than-expected current during tests.
Reparaturschritte & Checkliste
Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.
- 1
Reconfirm the motor nominal current (P1-22) and motor power (P1-20) against the motor nameplate data.
- 2
Ensure the connected motor is within the recommended sizing range for the drive (typically 10-200% of the drive's rated power).
- 3
Check all motor cable connections at the drive output terminals (U, V, W) and the motor terminal box for tightness and corrosion.
- 4
Measure the resistance of motor phases (U-V, V-W, W-U) at the drive output to identify any high-resistance connections or open circuits.
- 5
If all data is correct and the motor is small, try selecting a different AMA type (e.g., P1-25) that might be less sensitive to low currents.
