Motor thermistor overtemperature

Danfoss · VLT AutomationDrive FC 301/302

What does 11 mean?

The motor thermistor either indicates an overtemperature condition or has become disconnected. The drive can be configured to issue a warning or an alarm based on the setting in parameter 1-90 Motor Thermal Protection.

Additional Steps

Steps 1–2 are listed in Priority Fix.

  1. 3

If using terminal 53 or 54, ensure the thermistor is connected correctly between the chosen terminal (analog voltage input) and terminal 50 (+10 V supply), and verify the terminal switch for 53 or 54 is set for voltage input. Confirm parameter 1-93 Thermistor Resource selects the correct terminal.

  2. 4

If using terminal 18, 19, 31, 32, or 33 (digital inputs), ensure the thermistor is connected correctly between the digital input terminal used (PNP only) and terminal 50. Select the correct terminal in parameter 1-93 Thermistor Resource.
