What does AMT tuning fail mean?

This alarm indicates that the Automatic Motor Tuning (AMT) process, which identifies motor parameters for optimal control, has failed. This can happen due to incorrect motor wiring, mechanical issues, or unsuitable motor characteristics for the tuning process.

Additional Steps

Steps 1–2 are listed in Priority Fix.

  1. 3

Ensure the motor parameters entered into the drive match the motor's nameplate data.

  2. 4

Attempt to re-run the AMT process, ensuring the motor can run unloaded if required by the tuning procedure.
