ABB · ACS560 Standard Control Program Firmware

What does 7000 mean?

A communication error has occurred on control board channel CH1, typically caused by electromagnetic interference. This fault prevents the drive from communicating correctly with connected I/O modules, leading to loss of control or incorrect operation.

Additional Steps

Steps 1–2 are listed in Priority Fix.

  1. 3

Verify proper earthing of the equipment to minimize electromagnetic interference.

  2. 4

Check for highly emissive components (e.g., other high-power devices) nearby that could be causing interference.
